¡°Best Product (Peripheral) category win at Retail Vision 2006¡±




Celluon is proud to announce its win in the ¡®Best Product: Peripheral Category¡¯, with its representing Laser Projection Keyboard, at the Retail Vision Spring Event (4th - 7th April), held in Texas, San Antonio. In addition to last year¡¯s nomination in the ¡®Best New Product¡¯ category at the same event, Celluon has undoubtedly displayed the prowess of a Korean venture company in technology development and marketing capabilities.

Retail Vision is organized by Gartner, an event which creates interaction opportunities between North America¡¯s top 100 leading retailers (such as Best Buy, Amazon, CompUSA, Radio Shack etc.) and their decision-making purchasing personnel together with global manufacturers. The event, which is held twice a year, allows for business negotiations to take place and subsequently, the ¡®Best of Retail Vision Award¡¯ event. This event, which is organized on the final day, awards recognition to products from participating technological companies, based on votes by retailers.

Celluon drew much attention from the decision-making purchasing personnel from large channel distributors and received requests for huge amounts of the laser projection keyboard. Numerous channel distributors wanted to meet the potential peak demand for the product during the ¡®back to school¡¯ and ¡®Thanksgiving Holidays¡¯ seasons.

Through the Retail Vision Event, which encompasses a tradeshow, business negotiations and presentations from manufacturing companies to channel distributors, Celluon drew the votes of decision-making purchasing personnel, culminating in its win in the ¡®Best Product (Peripheral)¡¯ category. Moreover, the Laser Projection Keyboard was nominated by global buyers amongst the very best of consumer products, enabling it to be included in the top 5 nominated products under the ¡°Best New Technology¡¯. Once again, Celluon has demonstrated the outstanding superiority of Korean venture companies in technological advancement and overseas marketing.

Both models of Celluon¡¯s Laser Projection Keyboard - CL800 and CL850 have been exported and are now being sold in Europe and South American markets. The success from this recent Retail Vision Event has provided the foundation for Celluon, which will be introducing and selling its products through large distribution channels, in North America, during the later half of this year. Indeed, Celluon¡¯s Laser Projection Keyboard and its advancement into the overseas distribution markets is an example of potential successes of small-medium enterprises in Korea.
